30-Day Return Window

Most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.

What Can Be Returned

  • Items must be in original, unused condition
  • Items must include original packaging and all accessories
  • Electrical components must be uninstalled and unused
  • Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery

What Cannot Be Returned

  • Installed or used electrical components
  • Opened chemical products (cleaners, sealants, paints)
  • Custom or special-order items
  • Items that have been cut, modified, or altered
  • Items damaged by misuse or improper installation

How to Start a Return

  1. Email us at returns@getboatparts.com with your order number and reason for return
  2. We'll respond within 1–2 business days with a Return Authorization (RA) number
  3. Package your item securely and write the RA number on the outside of the box
  4. Ship the item to the address provided in your RA confirmation
  5. Once received and inspected, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to:

  • A defective or damaged item
  • An incorrect item shipped
  • Our fulfillment error

In these cases, we'll provide a prepaid return label.

Refund Processing

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times:

Exchanges

To exchange an item, start a return for the original item and place a new order for the replacement. This ensures the fastest processing time. If you need the replacement urgently, place the new order immediately — your refund will be processed when we receive the returned item.

Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged item, please photograph it immediately and contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@getboatparts.com. We'll resolve it quickly — no hassle.
