We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
Most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.
What Can Be Returned
- Items must be in original, unused condition
- Items must include original packaging and all accessories
- Electrical components must be uninstalled and unused
- Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery
What Cannot Be Returned
- Installed or used electrical components
- Opened chemical products (cleaners, sealants, paints)
- Custom or special-order items
- Items that have been cut, modified, or altered
- Items damaged by misuse or improper installation
How to Start a Return
- Email us at returns@getboatparts.com with your order number and reason for return
- We'll respond within 1–2 business days with a Return Authorization (RA) number
- Package your item securely and write the RA number on the outside of the box
- Ship the item to the address provided in your RA confirmation
- Once received and inspected, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to:
- A defective or damaged item
- An incorrect item shipped
- Our fulfillment error
In these cases, we'll provide a prepaid return label.
Refund Processing
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times:

Exchanges
To exchange an item, start a return for the original item and place a new order for the replacement. This ensures the fastest processing time. If you need the replacement urgently, place the new order immediately — your refund will be processed when we receive the returned item.
Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive a defective or damaged item, please photograph it immediately and contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@getboatparts.com. We'll resolve it quickly — no hassle.
