Replace your impeller every 3 years or 300 hours. This is not optional. A failed impeller means the engine overheats and you're looking at a $3,000+ repair versus a $30 part. The Quicksilver OEM kit has all the gaskets and o-rings you need — don't cheap out with aftermarket on this one. I've seen boats towed in with cracked heads from ignored impellers.
